Today I completed w8 run - with a difference. About 6 weeks ago a friend asked if I wanted to do a Bubble Run for charity. I obviously hadn't long been on the C25k programme but decided to commit to it as a way to make sure I kept going. It was a lot of fun. Basically after every km you run through a floor of bubbles. I honestly cannot believe it but I finished the 5k in 27 minutes! I am not a fast runner and have not paid a lot of attention to the speed - in fact I wonder if they under measured the route. Being in a group situation definitely spurred me on. I've decided to graduate next Saturday at the local park run. Keep going all. It is so worth it!!

OOh that's brilliant, well done you x
Thanks! I think it was definitely less than 5k. I need to get some sort of measuring device - thinking about a Fitbit?
I love my Garmin, and I love to see what everyone else has done too. You could try one of the free apps to if you have a smart phone, Runkeeper, Map my run, or Endomondo. I tried RK and MMR, both a bit hit and miss but not bad for free. Try one of those first and then see if you want to spend the money on a dedicated device.
