I still don't feel particularly comfortable from about 5 minutes into a run until about fifteen minutes, and I've seen many people say the same.

Well done for that run. It's all running for you now, no walking. As for the mental strength, most of that comes from confidence that you can run for a long time. Remind yourself when you find the going tough that you know you can run, because you've done it before. Remind yourself you're a runner!

Yeah baby!!! :)

Well done you - it's such a great feeling. And you are a runner now!

Hey Tiaralou! That sounds so good. I loved it when Laura said I'm a runner now. A lot of it is in the mind I think, yes, but that doesn't mean you're not working hard in your body too. Good luck for week 7 :)

Well done! I've got that run coming up on Sunday. Gloups. But I reckon that one we've got the 20 minute run under our belts, one more soundtrack is doable :-)

Ha ha. "Ramped it up" Hark at you!!!!

I think you rather enjoyed that Tiara. Good ! That's half the battle. If you enjoy it then you'll keep going. Running is THE best thing. I wish I'd done it donkeys years ago instead of waiting til I was nearly 60. Doh! Oh well, we're doing it now and that's the main thing.

Week 6 is a stinker! So respect to you for having got the better of it. It's all easy breezy from now on. Downhill to week 9. Enjoy it and see you at the finish line

Well Done 👏 I love Laura, today I was blessed with becoming a runner also ... All the best for Week 7 xxx

Hi Lou. New you would love her message. Well done runner. Now it's all psychological its the gremlins against your will power and determination. 9 runs to graduation. I'm there at the end with my flags ready to wave you over the line. Keep it up girl. I now know you can do this and smash it at the end. Come on Lou you've almost done it :) J

I get gremlins too. Someone on here said to tell the gremlins to (ahem) go away, ask yourself 'can I breathe?' And 'are my legs falling off?' If answers are yes and no respectively, spot an object in the achievable near distance and head for it slowly. Works for me.
