Windy start to week 9.

Completed the first run of week 9 today and I was not looking forward to it. (I actually intended to go yesterday but I completely bottled it).

Weekend runs have been particularly tough for me. So to make it a bit different I decided to reverse part of the route to distract me when it got tough.

Well, boy was it windy out there! (And I'm not talking bottom burps, ha ha).

The wind was working against me all the time- either behind me forcing me to run faster than I was comfortable with or it was gusting towards me making me push against it and stealing all my precious oxygen.

It even pelted an empty yogurt pot at me - that was a particularly low point :(.

Anyway despite my clock watching during the last 5mins- I did it! Woooohooooo!

So pleased with myself. Hopefully the next couple of runs won't be as touch!

Yessssssssssss! Punches the air! You did it! Job done. The next runs will be a piece of pee in comparison. Woohoo

It only goes to show that it's best to go ahead and not put runs off, unless humanly possible of course. More often than not you really enjoy yourself. Yogurt pots and gales notwithstanding.
