My first run in the rain but I did invest in a waterproof breathe able lightweight jacket which was great to run in. First 8 mins felt comfortable but the second was a challenge running up an incline with a bitter cold wind against me. But once out of the wind I managed to speed up fir my last minute so really pleased. I can imagine running 20 mins at the weekend. Hoping for a mild sunny day

Well done on your progress and your positive attitude. Do some strong facial stretches before the run and warn your nearest and dearest, otherwise the inane grin that you are going to be wearing for several days could (a) be painful and (b) lead to you being taken away by the men in white coats.
