Well almost 5k - 4.79km
(i have 3 set routes, one is flat and about 4 mile, another is moderately flat and just over 3 mile and the run i done yesterday is flat apart from one hill that has quite a steep hill and depending on weather i run on the inside/outside of corners can either be bang on 5k or just under.)
28min 52 seconds.
With one 8'51" mile and a 9'31" the hill on this route usually kills me, but i steamed up it like a train (like i always do) but usually at the top i have this spot where i walk for 30 seconds. I look at it and though no way, the only thing that's going to stop me is if my legs fall off. I did however get the most ungodly stitch when i got down the other side of the hill, complete agony even just breathing, but then i remembered the technique to get rid of stitches while running. And after about a minute of running like that it soon dissipated. I'm positive that last mile would of been just as fast as my first if it wasn't for the stitch..
A massive confidence boost, since the run before that, i had to stop half way and walk home (i had been decorating the night before, and the paint fumes had destroyed my lungs, it felt like i could only fill my lungs at about 1 quarter capacity no matter how hard i was breathing, which was pretty scary since i was about 1 mile away from any sort of civilization lol.)
