Managed a 4km Rico Run Walk this morning. It was very slow but felt good to be out and about. Came home and did 25 mins on the indoor cycle then lots of stretching. Feeling happy again ;-)

Happy running all.

Good stuff Gf

I hope you'll be back to running again very soon

I was out walking the dog this morning and we passed loads of runners. It really makes me jealous

Fingers crossed that you get clearance to run soon

I am allowed to gently return to running but have to note how it feels after 24 hours (sore). A friend of mine just said "Man Up" that'll fix it and I think he has a point ;-)

I came to that conclusion after I found my ankle was hurting whether I ran or not. So I "womaned" up and went running. I think you can run some niggles off. Not all though obviously.

I don't have a physio, so that saves with having to defer such decisions about should I or shouldn't I

If you can walk the dog without any sign of trouble then I'd take that as a positive. Mind you I'm walking a dog that could possibly lead a pack of huskies!

Good stuff MW. The stretches help so if they can send me the right ones for strengthening I think I'll be ok

The strengthening exercises the physio gave me seem to be doing the job !

Just think G, youre going to come back stronger with less chance of you suffering the same thing again ! Thats the way Im looking at it xxx
