Well all, wk3r2 over and done with and very good it was too. Once again the first bit was hard but then the second stage was great and I could have carried on but I said no point jumping the gun as injuries happen then. I was also running foreign ground as I was back home at my parents for a weekend. Altogether great. I'm thinking wk4 is going to be a killer thou but who knows apart from you grads of cause :)

I always have this pain with the first bit but I somehow think I'm going to turn into forest gump and eventually just keep going and going. " Hey bubba throw me some shrimps " ;)

Nice run Jase. And delighted to see you're taking a sensible approach in your "I could have carried on but I said no". I'm well impressed!

Don't worry about future runs. Laura and the programme will get you through and your body and head will be ready for them.

Where do you have the pain when you start?

It's in my lungs. I have a lung disease called sarcoidosis which after 2.5 years I've managed to get into remission but it still hurts when I run unfortunately. I was on 360 tablets a month but I have it under control now so I'm quite chuffed :)

360 tablets a month! Bloody hell Jase that sounds tough. Fantastic that you've started this running lark though and you're clearly loving it. Credit to you for getting out there and running through the pain.

Me too! Did W3R2 this morning in hard frost cross country. I was so busy concentrating on where to put my feet that I couldn't believe the first 90 seconds were up! Do you find it harder to breathe in the cold air? I struggled to get my breath back between runs

Yes cold air isn't good to me so I wear a buff and breath through that. It helps. :)
