As Mark on Channel 4's "The Hotel" programme says - "HOORAAAAY!"
My hamstring has completely settled down and feels back to normal. Haven't run all week as I spent two very uncomfortable days feeling sorry for myself as the leg played up, but now the weekend is approaching I'm planning a run tomorrow - to test things out.
I'm getting my scooter serviced tomorrow and the garage is 3.1 miles away! Well blow me down, if that aint just exactly 5K. So my cunning plan is to drop it off and run home - then run back when it's done. That way I'll clock 10K in two halves. Genius or what?!!
Have fabulous parkruns, solo runs & group runs this weekend folks. Until we meet again on this forum we call.......er.......the forum?

bliddy genius you are glad you are back to fully fit again weather should be better tomorrow or not quite as cold anyway
Aw Dan, that is good news and the ingenuity you have displayed in creating a 10k route in two halves is truly awe inspiring. Hope my hip responds as well to the week off...
Patience is a virtue and all that. Delighted to hear said leg is feeling dandy. Just one question. What happens if said garage finds out said scooter needs a bit of work and it won't be ready until Monday? Do you run to the garage and then home again scooterless but with more mileage done? Just asking.
