My first run had an average pace of 8 mins per km and the second one was 11? Only difference was I brought the dog 2nd time. Didn't feel slower at all?

But I bet the second one was more fun! Don't worry about speed. I read something recently ( sorry can't remember where or who) where a famous coach said most runners still run too fast and that we need to slow down, then slow down some more. So, advice from an expert ( even one whose name I can't remember!).
