Chuffed at doing 5k at less than 40 min - to find out it was really 4.61k :-(

I did the Santa Run for Acorns Hospice this morning, dressed in a fetching Santa suit. Managed to run most of it, with just a few walks, and was over the moon to see the 38 mins on my watch. :-) turned into a :-( when I saw it wasn't a full 5K.

But then I met this guy, who ran playing the keyboard at the same time. Decided it was a good run after all and I aim to raise a few funds for the hospice.

Went to supermarket afterwards and received a few smiles.

Think I will find out if the parkrun does a dress up run around Xmas - might as well take it out again and see if I can do the full 5k this time!

Oh bless you. That's fantastic. I've done one too today. Hot in those suits isn't it....mine was round my waist after about 5 mins.

You still did great. Hospices need every single penny and they will be so grateful. Our was for our local hospice too.

Well done moonmar. Love the photo xxx
