Cadence Mp3 Files - Help Yourself :-)

Following the recent interesting posts regarding cadence, I thought I would put the following mp3 files together for those people who don't have a metronome on their phones.

Each of the mp3 files are 5mins long, but of course you can always "repeat the track"... these are probably the most boring mp3's in existence.. but hopefully useful :-)

You are a star! Thank you xx

That is brilliant timing, thank you!

My iPod Touch is so old that it won't let me download any of the metronome apps and I tried the Podrunner tracks but they are a little too 'hardcore' for my delicate, old ears :)

Thank you. Turns out my cadence is around the 170 mark.

I must have quite a long stride as my average km pace is around the 4:50 to 5:15 mark. I'm not sure I really want to go any faster.

Sorry, but can't help you getting the files onto your "i-wotsits" :-)

If anyone needs any other cadence rates, let me know and I'll put them up.

I read somehwere for tall people. that being me haha. it should be around 170 instead of the suggested 180 for normal peeps :D .. Not sure what mine is yet

Rob... I'm tall as well (6-4")... I think we are the "normal peeps" and everyone else is vertically challenged to one degree or another :-) :-)

I had a run on a treadmill the other day and I ran at 160 which felt OK. Good thing about the treadmill was that my speed was constant and I have no other distractions so I could concentrate on my cadence.. worth a play if you get chance.

Those of us who run without a smartphone or MP3 player also have some choices, for example a GPS watch with accelerometer/footpod or a pocket metronome. On each count I can recommend the Garmin 220 and the Seiko DM51. Onwards, folks!
