Sore Legs

Went nuts. Did repetitive hill sprints yesterday and a 5K turned into a 10K today (due to feeling a bit miserable) on the Cornish coast path in blazing sun. Danced this evening....legs glowing and nice-achey. Obviously the run did it's job though so :-)

Hopefully that gorgeous view and your run and the SUNSHINE have helped take your mind off whatever was making you miserable. Give your legs a rest today, but that sounds like a fantastic run on the coast path :)

Thanks :-)

How's the recovery process going?

What a wonderful view. No one could feel miserable running and looking at that! Sounds like a busy couple of days :)

Hi AwesomeMum :-)

How are you getting on?

What a view! Even I might be inspired to go on longer than 5k if that was ahead of me. It occurs to me we have no longish grass to run on here - all woodland tracks and sand. Green and blue are lovely colours to run to :)

It is lovely. The uphills make it slow going, but at least there's plenty to distract me!

Running through long grass is great because it seems to give you killer abs without you noticing. Though I reckon running on sand probably just gives you killer everything, if you can keep it up. My sister lives by the sea and when I run with her on loose sand it's absolute murder!

I teeter around the edges of the deeper sand tracks 'cos not up to that yet. What with that and dodging the dogpoo it turns into something of a river dance routine. Not pretty.

Beautiful place to be running! I bet all the running also helps with the dancing, and that might be the real secret to enjoying exercise :)

Oh surely!

My 16 yr old daughter commented on my fitness as we were dancing together! :-)

It all works together nicely

Yes it does, you'll be outdancing em all in a bit!

Great landscapes you run in, and SUN! you lucky thing! How could you be miserable with that lot unfolding in front of you. You should try running down the glass/rubble/litter/dog shite/spittle strewn behind-the-factory path that I have the pleasure of running down. Still, with winter coming and dark nights I won't be able to see any of it. LOL

Lol, well there is that *takes a deep lungful of manure scented air*

(I actually kind of like it!)

Poor Miss W! And I thought my runs' views were uninspiring!

Fortunately, they're not all like that. The back-of-the-factory route does lead to some decent trail. It's a pity though it's so glass strewn as it is a proper cycle trail!
