Poppy Run

Has anyone signed up for the Poppy Run at Kingsbury Water Park, Warwickshire. It is on 26 October.

Oh that does sound good - I just bought one of the ceramic poppies from the Tower of London - my great uncle died in the 1st world war and I feel it is important as we get to the 100 year anniversary to celebrate his sacrifice.

I have been meaning to sign up to one of them for a while, but can't decide between Derby, Kingsbury, Ashby and Nottingham - they are all about the same travel time from me. Must get round to making the decision and booking. Don't know that any of my family were in WW1, but my nephew is in the army and has done a couple of tours of Afghanistan.

Kingsbury water park is fairly flat, if that helps.

Well it's tomorrow then.....lucky there's an extra hour's sleep!

I will be the one bringing up the end group. I am currently repeating C25K. Don't know whether I should do week7 run1, or music intervals (run for one track, walk the next). See how I feel tomorrow. After all running should be fun.

Just crocheted a poppy to pin on. Just need to find a safety pin.
