A strange observation

Over the past few weeks I have tended to notice something about my pace.

In the early months, I could pretty much gauge my pace to within 30seconds per km. Recently I have been rubbish at it.

I have been setting off too fast (as I always have) generally completing 2k in around 9 minutes. After that I have slowed down and have really felt that I have been plodding along at around a 6min per k pace. When I get home and look at the stats it does not reflect this, averaging my pace at around the 5:10 mark.

I havent really done much speed training.

Seems strange that I think I have slowed down but have actually speeded up

Hmm, I'd give that a go, but don't think I could run any slower!
