Another one for the 'done it' list!

Just completed run 3 of week 9. I know they bill it as couch to 5k in 9 weeks - well, for me it's been couch to 3.7k in 11 weeks but I'm still beaming with pride! Already have my next goal picked out - want to run 5k even if it takes me 40 mins plus - pretty sure I'll be able to do it if I take it steady. Have organised my own playlist and although I'll miss Laura, I won't miss the podcast music! Once I've done 5k I'm going to do the speed podcast till I can get my 5k time down. Then I'm thinking of a park run.... Whoever said graduating is only the beginning is spot on! Thanks to everyone for the support. I'm afraid I'm a rubbish poster - mostly only post when I want advice or a pat on the back - it's all me, me, me I'm afraid! Happy running everyone.

And here's a well deserved pat on the back!

Congratulations - yay!!!!!

Now go and get your shiny badge :-)

I think it took me about 3 weeks after graduation to run 5k - no rush, just enjoy

:-) :-) x

It's the 'Stride of Pride' for Saffi. Many, many congratulations. It is a great achievement.

Don't 'think of a park run'. Register today and go Saturday! You'll love it, and will find that the atmosphere carries you through to 5km.

That's fantastic, well done. Its good that you have goals to work towards and its amazing how you see improvements over the weeks. I agree with MarkyD, go for parkrun, they are brilliant! Enjoy your running x :-)

Congratulations! That's brilliant progress. A friend of mine recently finished the podcasts and I know it took her longer than the 9 weeks as well. The important thing is you made it to the end.

Congrats on finishing the programme! I'm a couple of runs behind you, but I've already come to the same conclusions and set the same goals, so please keep us posted!

You've got really good post graduation goals . Well done on being able to do the 30 mins, a great achievement.
