back to training again have had a few runs after the hip thing touch wood its ok at the moment , i have skipped to week nine of 16 on a garmin training plan which includes 2 days easy run 2 days interval training and the long run its all done in mins so its not that bad intervals are very tough but good when ended ,i had a 90 min long run on sunday half at easy pace and half at the end in race pace and felt quite strong on the finish all workouts include a 10 min cooldown with stretching i also found a training pace calc in runners world ,tis give you your pace/speed for your easy run s and intervals and the long run worth a look .got new shoes so can swap over but cant stop running in the new one s very light nike free 4.0 s ,its coming up for a year since i started this 1200 miles later im still smiling and looking forward to my 3rd half m this year happy running all

Great stuff... this is inspiring to me as I am training for my first half in Feb... can't wait (but I'm taking the training slow and steady like you seem to be)...
