The good news is that I’m back to 30 minutes running after one month of break during Ramadan. As I said in my previous posts I had to reduce the running time to about 23 minutes last month. I did my second 30 minutes running yesterday at the KLCC Park, perfect place for running. The park showcases a heritage of tropical greenery with calm environment in the midst of the hustle and bustle of the city. There is plenty of water features and also natural features such as very large trees, shrubs, stones and wood with a manmade lake built right in the middle of the park. A 1.3 km. long jogging track and foot path, covered with ethylene propylene rubber a special rubberized material for comfort and safety I must say this is my favourite. Rest areas proper benches and drinking water are provided along interconnecting footpaths you don’t even have to bring and carry a bottle with you. I thought it was also a good idea between running days to start the 5 WK strength and flexibility programme here to take advantage of all these facilities. Lots of people are running in the morning here. A few people are admiring my c25k t-shirt with a logo on it. If any C25Kers are here please lets arrange to run together in the mornings. This place is just amazing.
