Couch to 5k (take 2)!

Hi I'm Marge. I have already completed the plan before but I stopped running around 9 months ago. I had started a new job and loosing my dad had put running on the back burner. So today when I woke up I just put my trainers on and went out. It felt great! I have missed it. I was a little disheartened with my pace/starting from scratch but I hope that I will get better soon. Just got to try and fit it in around work now :)

Hi Marge

Sorry to hear you had to pack in running. I hope you can find time for it now. I don't think it's wrong to want to keep some time for yourself. Everyone needs their own space

Running/walking the C25k at a slow pace is the right pace so I wouldn't worry on that score. It will get you to the finish line at week 9 without getting injured so don't knock it. Slow is the new fast! LOL

I want a t-shirt with that logo 'slow if the new fast'! haha yeh just remember your going faster than the person on the couch :)

Good luck Marge. You know it works, so you can just enjoy the journey back to fitness.

Keep running, keep smiling.

Good luck, you know that you can do it so building up this time should be much less of a mental hurdle. I am sure it is the mind that is the main barrier so you are more than halfway back before you start.

Good luck Marge, one of the main huddles is actually starting so well done you, you've done that one! As you have already completed this programme you know it works, so you might be able to enjoy it more this time :) good luck
