Blooming hot out there

Not been on here in a while but just wanted to share the fact I've just managed 5k today after a week off in this heat. I went slowly but I managed. Was beginning to feel fed up cos started c25 k in April and clothes feel no more comfortable. Trying to run 3 times a week but personal life not allowing. Problem is when i don't run I get moody. However when I do run and don't lose weight I feel moody too

You can achieve both. Very easily. But you have to be disciplined and put half an hour of your life to one side to accommodate the 5K you will do thrice weekly.

Then use MyFitness Pal. If you don't know what that is, it's a free calorie counting app and it is FANTASTIC. It's so bloomin' simple it's ridiculous. Set your goal weight and it will work out what calories you have to eat each day. Stick by that and don't cheat and you will definitely lose weight.

I lost 8lbs in 4 weeks then carried on doing it until I'd lost a stone and a half - 21lbs. I too get irksome if I don't run so I make damn sure that NO MATTER WHAT I run three times per week.
