I save mine and have begun a scrapbook. I slip in the bib in the sheet holder and on the next page I put a picture of me with it on and also a record of where the race was, what the cause was, result time, etc.

Well, with the few I've got, I've just put them with the race tee-shirt in the goody bag and they're lying on the spare bed! Like your idea though - might do something similar.
I only have 4 so far. My first one was in March (my profile pic) and I did it with my brother-in-law. It was the one that initially gave me the incentive to run. I couldn't have done it without a C25k programme.
I've kept my numbers (except the aquathlon one, they asked for that back!!!), they're in a little stack on the book shelf in our bedroom, medals on the top. However I love your idea and shall be stealing it!
