I completed my 1km race in 3:37 which I am very happy with but I lost by about 5 seconds. I was racing teo friends who ran 500m each. I ran the first 500m in 1:31 and the second in 2:06 so I didn't pace it very well but got sucked into the race. It was fun, it got be a good time and maybe next time I'll race them over a mile or 2 kms :-). I have made a gif out of the baton handover and attached it to the post, it is works it is funny because my friend built up a 1 seconds lead over me at the 500m mark but then collapsed when he handed the baton over!

Here is a link to the run:

Wow - look at all that data, I want data like that! I rely on my C25K app and I'm not sure how reliable the GPS is. Also was this your own made up 1K race or are there official ones?!

This was our own run. We ran along the path in the park. At the 200m mark there were guys playing cricket on the path and when they saw us coming full steam ahead they jumped out of the way!

The Garmin is very good for data and I think it is a bit more reliable than apps.
