Puddle jumping and tissues in inappropriate places

First run in the pouring rain since coming back to the programme (W2R3). I'd forgotten how much I like running in the rain (just not all of the time). I even managed a few gazelle like leaps across puddles on my last stretch. Well they were gazelle like in my mind!

And to anyone who saw my fishing around down the front of my leggings, I was merely retrieving a rogue tissue that had slipped from being tucked inside my waistband!!

I want to leap gazelle like over puddles but instead do a careful little hop skip hop as I don't want to overstretch. Us old biddies have to take care of our creaking joints. I'm with you on the fishing about for hankies. How they end up round the back of my neck, having migrated up my sleeve, deary me. All sorts of contortions going on. Folks must think we've escaped. Oh well, who cares, it's all good fun!

Tuck it down your bra!

I've started taking a proper cotton hanky and stuff it down my bra, it just goes in the machine along with all the other running gear.

Yep I am also a tuck it down your bra fan :) love the rain but I splash through the puddles rather than Gazelle leap

Watch out for puddles. You can never tell how deep they are, or what they are hiding in their murky depths. Many a twisted ankle can be attributed to them.

I love puddle jumping especially once I'm wet then you don't feel the cold mud when your jump falls short of clearing the puddle which with my short legs happens a lot ;) Its nice a cooling running in the rain too. Enjoy :)

I'm sensing a gap in the market for a Morris-dancer meets toddler-mittens-on-string hankie holder for women runners :)

Everything's packed in so tightly in the old sports bra that I'm not sure if there's any room for a tissue!

If only my legs could run as fast as my nose!!

Safety pin a cotton hanky and tuck it down inside your top, sorted :)

Come the cold weather i end up with gloves, hat, buff etc down my shorts as they're removed as i get warm enough, must look a right sight with all the different bulges.

And sorry i'm one of those disgusting girls that swipes with a cuff/glove/hand if needed, everything gets washed so......

Nothing wrong with gazelle leaps. I do these over puddles as you can't tell how deep they are, or what is at the bottom.

I have also been seen fishing down the front of my running shorts or leggings (steady-on now), but not for tissues, but for the vanishing car keys.
