Upper arms no but middle aged spread almost gone now. It seems anything a bit loose & flabby gets tightened up...

Yes! I never even thought about it until the hubby commented, I supposed it must be the rotational movements. Another plus though! :)

I didnt visibly notice mine but found a worrying swelling only to quickly find one in exactly the same postion on the other arm! Yes, it was a bicep!

I'm glad it's going well for you. I'm looking forward to it happening to me too :)

My butt has vanished and my once tree trunk legs and ankles are slimming down. My once fat, flabby arms are getting skinny but with a muscle that looks a bit like a knot in string. LOL

I am getting a hollow under my ribs now, which is almost unbelievable to me as I had at least three spare tyres. My spare tyres even had spare tyres!

So for those looking to lose weight then I think running is the way forward. Yay!!!! You have to eat well and healthily too of course

Hi. Yes my arm muscles are much more defined since starting the c25k. I haven't really toned up my legs, although long way to go as they have always been rather wobbly. I always try to swing my arms a little more during my runs, think of them as my pistons, making my body to faster. Hee hee. I was in a changing room today and although try not to look at the wobbly bits in the behind mirror, I did notice the back of my arm muscle was more pronounced so quite chuffed about that. Hopefully, eventually my leg fat may start to burn off and start to reveal an actual muscle which I know is hiding there somewhere. X

oh my god - I am so excited at all these descriptions - I can't wait for my body to transform from flab factory into tonnd runner - last run of week three tomorrow morning, I hit Wales this weekend and did lots of walking so I didn't run and my knees seem to have finally started coping - still twingy but getting there. I will be swinging my arms tomorrow :)

Funnily enough, I just looked in the mirror this evening and thought my arms didn't look quite so 'flappy'! I have been doing a lot of heavy lifting at work recently too so I expect that's helped.
