I'm back

I graduated in November 2012 and kept up running for a while but with no target and life in general the habit died. Recently I have had a lot of stressors in my life and knew I had to take control. So I restarted the programme on week three and today have just done week6 run I. I'm doing it on the treadmill at the gym this time, leaving Laura behind and tuning into a TV programme or the Archers on Sunday mornings! So far I haven't had to repeat any runs and as I am moving house in May am determined to complete before this. Already thinking of outdoor routes for when I move and will have a daughter who is a couple of weeks behind me to run with. Once agin it's all your blogs that help me to feel I'm part of a running community. Thanks to you all for your openness about your successes and your not so good runs. I'm slow but I will get there and this time my post week 9 target will be to get to that 5k moment.

Cheers, Fitfor60. I'm now 70 so it's even more important to take control and move forward. Yes great to be able to run with my daughter. I'm visiting this weekend so will go with her on her week 4 run outside.
