Just want to tell you that this is a very important forum in helping me achieve my goal - to run 5K in 9 weeks! When I feel a bit down, I sat down in front of my computer and read all the posts - all the cheers and advice. It helps a lot to know there are C25K buddies all over the world doing the same thing as me - huffing and puffing :). I'm starting with w4r1 Monday morning. Haven't yet see how many minutes of jogging in store ....., will have a look later. A bit scared really... Happy running (or very slow jogging like me)! :)

I agree with you. I too have found this forum brilliant to keep motivated. Good luck on Week 4 - hope all is going well for you!

Yup, know what you mean. I got to week 8 and had to stop because of having an operation, and was finding it hard to get motivated to go back out. But I've gone back a few weeks and am finding it difficult, but reading posts here, knowing others have been through the same keeps me going. And I bet I beat you n the race for the world's slowest runner!

I must admit(secretly) that I am addicted to running and addicted to looking at all the posts on this forum. It's a little like my comfort blanket. :-)

Agree!

Reading posts where people admit struggling, doubting somehow made me stronger. If others could do it - in spite of their obstacles - then I could do it!

Having a place to admit you are struggling, and receive empathy and encouragement helps too.

Hiya and this forum got me to 10k last week!! I could not run 2 minutes at the start. The support and advice on here particularly for week 5 run 3 was immense. I was very scared of that 20 minute run but honestly you have trained well to get this point and you will be ready. We have all been there and here for you now. Keep on posting you are doing brilliantly!!! :)

Well done on completing week 3 and welcome to week 4. I found it marginally easier than week 3 and if I can do it...........! It's been said by so many people but seems to be true. I'm sure you will be fine. Good luck and best wishes.
