Hello Runners,

Today i completed week 5 run 1 and it felt amazing :) i cannot believe i was putting it off! im so glad people on here inspired me to just get on and do it!! I cant wait to try week 5 run 2 :D i cannot believe i struggled to run to run for 1 minute, shocking!!! I also think my new running shoes helped :P

Well done! Sounds like we both did an early morning W5R1 today :) (sounds like yours went a bit better than mine though!)

Onwards and upwards to run 2, before the dreaded run 3.... :o

PS. I also cannot believe I struggled to run for 1 minute a few weeks ago, and then ached like crazy for the whole of that day and the day after!

Well done. Its great seeing people just ahead of me getting further into the programme. I do w5r1 on Thursday evening and am feeling more confident now although dreading r3! I found concentrating on the breathing really helped me and gave me something to focus on. Keep us posted.
