My legs definitely didn't wanna do this running malarkey today , although I've noticed I seem to have found my own steady comfortable pace which is actually a jog (although so slow) but better in the end run !!! Even had two ladies (large like me )cheering me on, lovely but bit embarrassing too ha ha but very kind of them and I did thank them as it is far better than the abuse I dread from some ignorant people , prob just paranoia of a large girl from stuff in past but so far (partly due to evening runs and away from too many people) no nasties woohoo

Hi Dilly23 Well done for completing r2. I did mine this morning on the treadmill. I found the second run easier than the first and was really dreading it and even put it off from yesterday. I was able to think about my breathing this time and it made a huge difference and gave me something to think about. I am working on losing weight through slimming world but have reached a plateau. Hope more running will get the weight moving again. Woo hoo well done all of us.

Well done for getting out there. The key to success is not running really fast or turning heads with how pretty you are. The key to success is motivating yourself to pull your shoes on and get out there, and to put in the time. We're all tortoises here, not hares. I think it's fair to say that nobody looks good when running. First of all, we need to dress for comfort not style, and invariably look a mess. Second, we're red faced, gushing sweat and making panting noises like an asthmatic steam engine. It's just not a good look. If you're worried about the "larger person" thing, just remember this: every step you take is a step closer to not being a larger person anymore. It won't happen overnight, but it will happen. The same can't be said for sitting on the couch comfort eating.

Definitely xx I'm starting to see a better shape form , that can only be a good thing and the fact I'm enjoying exercise for only the 2nd time in my life ever and this is real exercise !! But your right every time we go out to do it, good day or bad is still a success xxx thank you

The 1,000 mile journey starts with a single step. You've taken that first step and are now progressing. Well done and enjoy the rest of the programme. I did W4R2 this morning and quite enjoyed myself. Best wishes.
