Has anyone done any of the parkruns at either branston or thetford?

We are going to elveden centerparcs soon and want to do the parkrun on the Saturday, but there are 2 nearby, and we don't know which one to go for. I'm not fast, but both seem to have runners my pace, so which is the nicest? (And the least complicated route! )

Hi,

While I'm a fair way off my first parkrun I am local & I think the Brandon (Branston maybe a typo?) one looks best. The country park is nice & the route looks like a straight forward loop. I've looked at the route for the Thetford one before & it looks complicated, although I'm sure the route is well marshalled. I know the Thetford one attracts quite a few runners now so depends on how you feel about crowds?

Thank you, yes it was a typo. We looked at the courses, and we thought the Brandon one looked better too, but you never really know I guess til you try them. Thanks for the reply

From a 'place to visit' point of view the country park is nice. If I ever get to a point where I'm happy running that'll be the one I try first I think.
