Holiday report

Here i am, visiting my daughter in California. You would think with the lovely weather I'd have run more, but we have been so busy doing other things! Spent the weekend up in the mountains, at 5500 ft, where walking up the hill from cabin to lodge was breathtaking. I mean, really, Huff! Puff! Gasp! Got up yesterday and drove into Orange county to enjoy a day with the grandson at Disney, a friend who works there got me in on an employee guest pass, hooray! I should have run today, but back home Skyped us and that was the morning gone.

I DID run on Friday, in a orange grove in an old district of town, a park around some old houses preserving how things used to be. The trees were in bloom and it was beautiful!

Sounds fantastic and looks beautiful. Your getting out and about, your being active. The run you have done will keep your muscles in check. You don't get to do the sort of things your doing now all the time. Run when you can but most of all enjoy your lovely holiday and time with your daughter.

I second that. You can run whenever you want when at home but your time in California is special so just enjoy it in your own way. You can't recreate times spent with family and, especially, grandchildren. Enjoy your holiday and enjoy your running when you get home. Best wishes.
