Hi all, I started the C25K recently as made good progress up to week six, I then started week seven but my mp3 stopped on my first run so I just carried on and completed a circuit. On measuring that circuit is 5.4km and took 34 mins. I have since completed said circuit seven times in two weeks but my time has never got better than 34 mins.
Does this count towards graduating? How do I improve my time as I still seem to be plodding, especially on the uphill bits.
Any advice would be gratefully received

Why not take a look at the couch25K+ podcasts on NHS choices? There are stepping stone (not a lot of people seem keen on this), speed (interval training, very hard work but effective I think it's 16 minutes but don't be put off by it's short duration) and stamina (which is a slightly longer run or 35 minute.
Each of the podcasts has a beat for you to run to and Laura counts it for you. They are aimed at helping you to run faster.
You, sir, are a graduate!
Time makes no difference, but distance does. Many Parkrunners take the best part of an hour when they start, but the thing that matters is the distance.
I will never be a fast runner, but I love it and I can do the distance if I take it easy.
