Sorry to say I failed in my attempt at week five day three.
I got to 11 minutes and has the most awful stitch that just wouldn't go away such a disappointment. Anyway this is only a set back and I will do the 20 minutes , just not today.

Oh dear! It's not failure - just not a good run and we all have those now and again!
Better luck next time! (Maybe you need more drink inside you?)
You will do it, you sound determined and like you say, only a minor setback ..........
I seem to remember Laura suggesting that you should slow down and breath deeply to clear a stitch, which is what I did on the one occasion when it happened to me. As Beek said you need to be hydrated, but not too much because that can cause a stitch. I drink half a glass of water (200ml) before a 5k run. Never fear you will crack it next time, I am sure.

Thanks all for your support. I was really disappointed earlier but now feel ok about it. Five weeks ago I hadn't run at all so am back to feeling just a little bit pleased with myself. Monday morning will soon be here and I'll be out for the full twenty minutes
