I'm so C25K and I don't even know it.

So, today was the day I would get out running again.

Nicely rested, new orthotics fitted for running in, and a careful check on those aches and pains.

So I took it easy.

Did I heck as like. I felt like the man in the 'Money Supermarket' advert running with the cats. I just felt so relaxed, free, and good for a run. The plan was to only run 5K (did I just say 'only', it still doesn't sound right). So I only ran 5K. I ended up running my fastest 5K in 4.5 months, and set a fastest average for the year of 5:12 min/km. Dead chuffed, but not sure it was what I should have done.... (new orthotics though are dead comfy)

I promise I will be more careful and steady on Weds. Though I feel good now.

Nice to hear you are out again, Nerdio. Obviously a bit of time off hasn't dampened either enthusiasm or ability. I believe being relaxed is the real answer to having a good run, whether that transforms itself into a PB or just a delightful run doesn't really matter.........we're running....hoorah!!!
