Have got to W5, run 1 completed - nervous as anything!

As the title says, I've got to W5, about to do R2. I'm so nervous about what is to follow and afraid that this will be the point I stop loving it.

How did those that have been through this stage find it and did you feel the same? Guess I'm looking for some reassurance!

I did W5 run 2 today, and even a week ago I would have thought it impossible! Its just one foot in front of the other - you can do it!

I'm terrified about Run 3, but for the first time I think I might just get through this - and not checking ahead in fear! We can do it! :) Good luck

Did this tonight, felt better run than the previous run ! i'm nervous about w5 r3 but after tonight am looking forward to the challenge( i think !) you can do it !

I'm about a week ahead of you but had a similar meltdown in week 5 and actually had butterflies before r2 and r3. My advice would be to take it very slowly and listen to Laura, you will be very pleasantly surprised as physically it's easier than you think, it's your head that will stop you. For r3 it's best to think of it in terms of sets of 5 mins, once you've hit 10mins you're on the home straight :) Be positive but steady. Best of luck and let us know how it goes!

I'm at the same point as you and also feel nervous of what lies ahead. I think we just need to trust the program and listen to the good advice on here as well as Laura when she says keep calm it's just a light jog :) We've got this far and I know we can keep going. Good luck and keep posting.

Thanks everyone - I guess I just need to get on with it! It's reassuring to hear others feel the same way. Good luck to us all.

I had to reply as I have just completed week 5 run 3. All I can say is, don't be nervous at the size I am I think people must think I'm genuinely joking when I say I go running. But you have no need to be nervous the pod cast will get you there and slow it right down just think gain stamina and play around with speed later you'll be great ! Hope I don't sound too prescriptive you can do it !!!! :)

Well done for completing W5R3, I am on W5 at the mo , R2 due tomorrow and its good to read your positive comments. I will certainly be slow- not sure about actually being able to slow down any further though that's what worries me. But I shall be giving it a go! Good luck with your running. x

no-excuse, I'm at exactly the same stage and will be doing r2 tomorrow. I also don't think I can slow down anymore. Best of luck for tomorrow - at least I will be running knowing I'm not alone!

Hi mzlouise! Was just about to wish you luck with this, once I'd read through everyones hints and tips. So, good luck! I am also nervous at what lies ahead because I don't want anything to stop me from keep going out there, I've been enjoying it so much. I even wake up thinking about running! Haha I must be a bit odd I reckon, I never thought I'd feel like that. So good luck tomorrow I will be thinking of you x

Hopefully you have done it by now mzlouise! I felt the same and was even tempted to repeat R1 but this morning I did and it wasn't too difficult at all. Now stressing about R3, I have just noticed that it is 20 minutes!
