Had a great 6k run yesterday and as it was so gloriously sunny, I added a sprint finish for about 30 seconds at the end. When I add a sprint, which I hear is good for improving my pace and improving my heart rate over time, I like to lengthen my stride quite a bit. Is that ok as I have seen a few comments about not striding out too much? Feel fine today can feel the muscles but no pain and hamstrings fine.

Can't answer your question but I did a sprint finish (uphill!) after my off-road 5K yesterday, when I suddenly realised I was very close to my PB. Glad to hear that it was good for me. I will try to do it more often.
