After completing 288km in a stop/start 2013, I set myself a challenge of 100km in January alone. I started well with a 5k every day for 6 days and then added in an 8, a 10 (my first in under an hour) and then a mix of 5,6,7,8's over the rest of the month. It is a far cry from 2012 when I struggled through week 2. I finally crossed the line on Friday night doing 5.44km to reach 100.11 km for the month with a 5k PB of 26:46. I could never have managed this without C25K and I am so glad I saw the article in my local village magazine back in 2013. Now I just need to think of a challenge for Feb. It will involve some cycling as well I think! happy Running.

100km in January
Hooray...that's a great start to the year... I have failed the 100k a month on the last 2, but managed 90 in Jan... Enjoy it!!!
90k in a month is fantastic. I am deciding what to do tho month. I want to try 100 running and 100plus cycling but in a 28 day month, that could be pushing it!!
Wow! That's amazing in January too! My goal is to run 75km a month and 1000km for the year - I did 80km this month but I forgot February is a short month! Might be difficult Happy running
Well done I set myself a 500 mile target for this year and managed 64 miles this month which I was absolutely astonished to have done when I added it all up. Depending on how well I do this month might mean that I have to revise my target. I totally agree with you about the c25k it really helps with future running, such an amazing plan.
