absolutely delighted I have finished week 4 despite a small injury earlier in the week - thanks Tiger balm!

Ok week 5 next week, pretty nervous about Week 5, run 3, any advice gratefully received!

I've just started week four, did the first run yesterday! I couldn't believe the jump from week three, but I went slow and managed to complete it!

Well done! I did exactly the same, slowed down because it seems like a big increase in running time! I found that by run 3 it's much easier though!

Well done you also! I start week 5 run 1 tomorrow! Apprehensive about run 3 but it seems that by the time I do the third run I am ready for it

Week5 r3 is really mind over matter. Your body can do it but your mind's going to be shouting abuse. Well you're not going to stand for that are you? You give it a good talking to - it does work. Also of course distract yourself. Plan what you're going to do later. Think of us all cheering you on. Think how pleased you'll be to have completed it & what you're going to post on here. Take it nice and slowly because just completing it will be important to you at this stage - speed can wait. Good luck but it's going to be you that gets you through not luck & you can do it.

Thanks for this advice, it really helps, will let you know how I get on - determined to do it, Just finished week5, run 1 felt ok except a slight niggle in my calf.

Your welcome. Well done on run 1 - you'll be fine. Looking forward to your run 3 post. Standing with your toes on a step & lowering your heels can help with stretching your calf.
