Couch to 5K

week 4 run 1

completed week 4 run 1 yesterday. For some reason i was really nervous beforehand. I did complete it, but it was a push in the second 5 minute stint. Was pleased with myself for finishing and wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't easy, but i had no stitch and although i was breathing hard, i managed it. I am also about 3 stone overweight, so if i can manage it, i hope this post will encourage others. Week 4, run 2 tomorrow!

The only other thing i would say is I don't seem to be losing any weight. I am eating very healthily, low fat, high protein, loads of veg and fruit etc, but even with the running, i'm not losing any timber!! Anyone else in the same boat?
