Well after having a rather aweful run last week for the start of week 3 I had a very good run today for the start of week 4. I've decided that my goal is to run at the local fun run in June which is only 3k but I didn't want to set my goals to high and go for the half marathon.
I was quite proud of myself as I did my laps around the estate and was actually able to keep running for the full time!! I was a bit down last week after my bad run but I'm glad I didn't give up because I would have missed this feeling!!
I feel so happy with myself just for completing five minutes that even though I ended up passing the same man with his dog three times, it became a thing where he smiled and said 'you're doing great' I could have cried at this point but just his few words of motivation kept me going!!! I feel like I only just started the program yesterday but for anyone thinking about joining... DO IT!! It really is worth while I feel a lot more happier since starting and even though I'm not trying to lose weight I have become a lot more keen on fruit and vegetables to the point where my mother laughs when I ask for more veggies at the dinner table!!!!

Well done! That sounds really positive. Keep plugging away K, eating those veggies, and you'll be at Graduation in no time. You will have good runs and bad runs though, it's just par for the course. Even a bad run can become a good one if you manage to finish it. Laura will tell you how well you've done, and you'll soon be smiling again.
Brilliant job! You sound really enthusiastic and methinks you have already caught the running bug. Your comment that you "were pleased you didn't give up as you would have missed the feeling" is so telling. Hang on to that thought as this will get you through each run. Enjoy the journey.
Lovely post! Remember how good it felt to keep going and be successful; it may not happen on every run but that's why we all get out there. Hope your dog walker is out to support you next time; I smile (grimace?) at everyone I see these days (so unlike when I began and dreaded seeing another creature, let alone person!
