Have taken a lot longer than 5 weeks to get to week 5

Not trying to sound smug, but Im so pleased with myself...Slowly but surely, successfully done week 5/Run1. Have slowly felt my strength building up,my desire to better myself.

And to think- I'm only just coming up to half way- I know I've still got the hard bits to come, but it's true, I've come to trust Laura..I even say Thank You to her out loud as she tells me Im half way, then Smile.

  • Smug and pink....that's the C25k way. Keep running, keep smiling.

  • So do I! She's a star int she. Good old Laura. You can rely on her to get your round. Good luck with Week 6. You might find it easier than 5. Report back on how you get on as we all like to stay with you to help you round

  • Love it, at first I would quickly look around, to see if anyone saw the crazy ( puffing) talking, giggle out loud running lady...especially at the end of (you have only a minute left)...Where are you Laura?..oh there you are, as I start walking catching my breath. Lol

  • Brilliant, how many times do you hear people say runners don't smile...not true :)

  • It took me longer too. But I wear my graduation badge with pride just like everyone else. Happy running.

  • Oh how sweet that Graduation badge will be - guess we all know, you can't get it without good effort, and worn with pride :)

  • I like smug! You deserve it.

You've got out and started to make a change in your life. I started the C25k at the beginning of November. I've just completed Wk7/r2. So like you I've taken my time.

    Keep smiling and good luck
