Had a break of 3 months due to injury

Hi had a break of a few months and was running 5k 4 times a week before, i really dont know where to start back.

can anyone help as i dont have a clue and want to get back out there.

Hope someone can help.

Try this:

Download the podcasts for week 5 onwards and give it a go.

You are probably fit enough to do more, but returning from injury I always think your joints and muscles need to get accustomed to running regularly again.

Bad luck on the injury but you're back now and raring to go. Don't go off too quick though. Nice and steady to start with. I expect it will feel strange at first but I hope everything goes all right for you. Good luck

I can sympathise as I am in a very similar situation, but mine is due to verrucas! Good luck in getting back into running ~ I know I shall need it!

I've also had a long break and have started back on 20 minutes. I'm going to raise the time by a couple of minutes each run now.
