Yay for C25k!

Well it's been five months since I started the programme and I'm still running 2/3 times a week and still enjoying the health benefits it brings. My fitness is much better, I feel more confident in myself and I've dropped two dress sizes. Just wanted to give a quick update as haven't posted for a while, and say to all those starting out that you've made a great decision. I've managed to recruit three other people to start c25k and I continue to spread the word! Happy running everyone, and remember that it doesn't matter how fast you go, it only matters that you go :)

Totally agree . Running changes your life for the better it's a fact ! That's brilliant that you have dropped 2 dress sizes , bet you haven't had to even had to do a diet . I graduated end of November , injured end of December , I've been out of action a week tomorrow , I am shocked at what a big part running now is in my life & how much I'm missing it . I'm on the mend now , but not rushing it , so giving it another wk . I'm like you I run 3 times a week . It's not a chore for the first time I have a excercise I love + eat what I want & feel fantastic . I too keep spreading the word . Happy running .

Great timing, edqa, to encourage all those at the beginning of this journey. Change your life in 9 weeks and feel the benefits in so many ways. I second your "Yay for C25k".

Keep running, keep smiling.

"It doesn't matter how fast you go, it only matters that you go" - love that line! I shall store it in my brain and use as a mantra when needed!

I agree totally - c25k is fantastic!

I couldn't agree more. C25k is amazing , I would like to give a huge thank you to the people who came up with programme; it works! I am amazed that 12 months after starting I am still going out to run, fitness fads have come and gone in the past. I am sure I am fitter than I have been in the past 25 years, I get such a sense of achievement after each run and it is such a great stress buster as well.
