Does yoga count as cross training?

Or does it have to be something more energetic? I'm following a new plan with cross training once a week but finding it hard to fit everything in so I'm wondering if my weekly yoga class counts?

Yes I've read somewhere it does , also Pilates counts too .

Yes. Yoga is a good stretch and great for relieving tension on those tired muscles, whereas Pilates is good for strengthening your core, essential to running.
