still having trouble with my knee.Ok when resting soon as i start walking it hurts.Hope to start running on sunday again hope i have not lost to much stamina.Will listen to my body from now on

You are doing the right thing taking time off running. I had a knee problem around week 2 - but I pushed it and went for a run after I already felt the twinge then needed around 2.5 weeks off! I just had another knee problem but I was much more careful this time and it took just over a week to heal. Before it healed it felt fine walking but when I'd jog I could feel it so I still didn't run. It will heal and you'll probably be fine when you go back out - I'm on week 8 and was able to jump right back in yesterday after 2 weeks off. In fact felt a bit easier!!
