I've had them on and off on one hand for most of today, but they're not really bad, just a slight tingle, just wondered if I was the only one and if anyone might know why?

Hi, could be carpal tunnel syndrome, mind you i was diagnosed with that and it ended up being slight damage to the cervical (neck) spine which was aggravating the nerve which runs down to the hands. I needed a lot of physio and acupuncture to fix it in the long run. Could be something much simpler of course!
I also thought of this syndrome but wasn't sure about it. If it occurs more often, get it checked by a doctor. My mum had it as well and went too late to see the doctors. She had an operation and still has no feeling in one finger (and will never have again). I don't want to scare you, I just want to warn you not to wait too long. My mother's fingers could have been fully recovered if she had seen the doctors before.
