Fragile ankles at the start of each run..?

When I start out (even though I warm up & stretch), my ankles feel really weak. After a minute of so, they are fine - has anyone else had this issue?

Any advice how to strengthen or help my ankles feel strong front the first stride?

I shouldn't worry too much if they settle down pretty quickly. They'll get stronger as you progress. Just make sure you're not over-striding - small steps are much better than long ones - run tall, not slouching, so you don't land too heavily and try to land mid-foot.
