W6 R2 - here we go and fingers crossed!
Struggled with r1 so hoping this will be better. looks like a lovely day and there is art all over regents park which should make it quite fun - i hope!
well. I did it. I guess this is the week (for me) where it stops being painless and I have to really knuckle down. That's what its about though! I think I was slower than I would have liked for the first ten mins and the second ten I was faster (mapmyrun won't give me the split which is annoying). Total distance was 3.5k which is less than I had hoped but gives me somthing to work on!
Brilliant! That sounds like a run to restore your confidence and spur you on. Well done!
hennith! where have you been? Have you started w6 yet? thanks for the support!
Sorry, missed this. Yep, I'm still here! Just did W6R2 this morning. Not finding W6 easy at all, but not feeling in danger of failing any runs either, so pretty much as expected I suppose. Will do run 3 on Tuesday probably - to the accompaniment of my own playlist again I think as that was so helpful for me on W5R3. When are you doing W6R3?
By the way, was your 3.5k for the whole run including the warm up/warm down walks or just for the 2 10 minute runs?
Hello! I'm doing r3 on Tuesday I hope- eek. The 3.5 was for the two ten min runs and the middle three min walk in the middle. Hope it's all going well!
Wow, that's good going. I did just over 2.5k for that (measured by map, not anything techie), so you must be going at a decent pace. Yes, it's going fine thanks - though I don't like the look of this week's weather forecast!
