So pleased to say I did my final run tonight. Very proud of myself. At 5+stone overweight and a mum of small children who teaches full time it feels like a wonderful achievement! Thanks to all who gave their support.

Wow, huge congratulations!! A massive achievement indeed...especially with a full time job and little ones at home! It's so good to see posts like this...gives the rest of us that encouragement we need to one day reach that goal too. Keep on running x

Heartfelt congratulations from the other Delia on the site -- still struggling to run 10K but I'll do it!

Well done! It's reading posts like this that keep me going. I've just done run 3 of week 5 - couldn't quite believe it when Laura announced a 20 min run! But I did it and I feel great. Can't ever say "I'm not a runner" anymore

Congratulations on your graduation. You certainly have your hands full! Running will help with any stress. I am a teacher too, and find that a run after work helps to settle my mind and relax me, especially if it has been a particularly stressful or worrying day.

Thank you all for your support. It truly means a lot. Even got my graduate badge! Took my running stuff on holiday and going to attempt the hill from stonehaven to dunottar castle in the morning. Hope it stops raining!!

Well done! Running in the rain is actually my favourite so I'm quite jealous of your run tomorrow :)
