OK, so last night my little boy got us up at half past midnight (he'd fallen asleep before 5pm and that was that). I didn't get back to bed until after 1am and I was shattered. Shortly after I got back to bed he came through and I let him get in with us. At about 3am he kicked me out and I went to sleep in the spare room for a couple of hours before he woke us up again at 5am. I'm coming down with a cold. I really struggled with my last run on Monday, and wasn't really expecting much of this morning's run which, by the way, I did 2 hours earlier than usual, at just after 7am. Week 5 run 1, so 3 lots of 5mins, with 3mins of walking in between. And it was the best run I've EVER done! Go figure,

Shower now, and then on with the day.

Wondermum without a doubt. Keep that wee darling occupied all day until 7.00pm, warm bath, hot bedtime drink and hopefully you will get a good night sleep tonight. Don't you just love em ;) Well done on your run after all that interrupted sleep.

You are not alone! My 2 year old had me up between 2.30 and 4.30 last night in and out of his room and I think I finally got back to sleep around 5.15 when my hubby then disturbed me getting up for his marathon training! dragged myself out on my run and felt great! Sometimes disturbed nights give me extra get up and go for my runs - lord only knows why?!! I do find I deal with lack of sleep so much better on a run day than if I have a rest day afterwards so the exercise is definitely doing some good :)

Fingers crossed you have a better night tonight and good luck for the rest of week 5! :D

Well done. You're doing fantastically. It's so unpredictable isn't. It.

Ugh, I feel your pain. Mine are a just a little bit older now and those really, really early starts and TV with the Tweenies (double ugh) seem like a distant memory. I have no idea how I coped. But I did, and you will too. It isn't forever. Mine are up at 7 am, even on weekends. I consider myself lucky, but I know the time will come when I can't get them out of bed. I'll blink and I'll miss it. Good luck, and well done for getting this far. As Oldgirl said, you are a wondermum!
