Hi suew123! You've got it. Slow and steady to start with and you will be fine. This programme does work as long as you believe in yourself! Laura has coached you to this point and as long as you have done all the runs and rests so far, you will be fine!

Hope it was a great run for you today!

I was very skeptical about achieving wk 5 as well, but my last run was the big 20 min one and I really surprised myself by doing it and enjoying it! You are right, just pace yourself and you'll realise the real battle is the mental one...stay positive and determined and you will do it too! Good luck! X

Well done with the progress you've made so far - keep going guys, you can do it! Hubby and I completed W6R3 tonight - started this programme in the summer and have been a bit stop-start with it but we've persevered and here we are starting to feel like runners! Not bad for a couple of fifty-somethings! Just keep at it and don't beat yourself up if it doesn't go to plan every time. I find that if I don't think too much about it and let my body go with the rhythm of the run it's much easier. The times I really struggle are when I over-think it. Keep going - it will be so worth it in the end! Good luck.

well done for getting this far.The programme is designed for you to get there.I have just graduated at the age of 62and never run in my life,so if I can do it so can you?If you find you get out of breath just slow down, and it doesn't matter how slow.Good luck for your next run xx

Only on week 3, but suspect if I went back to week 1 I would find it easy. Remember how much progress you've made. Soon you'll be on week 8! Keep going. There's plenty of proof that it can be done on here. I'll be huffing, puffing and sweating a couple of weeks behind you.

If you've got this far you'll get through it. I just did W5R3. Having set out full of doubt, I ran to my absolute limit, but I got there and you will too. Go for it!
