Things I have learnt recently.

1. I CAN run for 56 minutes, covering 7 k. This has taken 52 years to learn, and 11 weeks to put to the test successfully.

2. Running REALLY improves breath control for singing. Completely unlooked-for bonus when in the church choir ( in which I am part of the Heathen quota)

3. Despite the temptation, do not wear tubigrip elastic bandage on both knees even though it feels lovely and supportive. It's like running wearing long extra-warm socks to over-the-knee length, and you will feel like your legs are burning up.However you will not have painful knees afterwards.
